Stair Restoration
distinguishes itself by the scholarship
that informs our approach. Before any work is done, the history and condition
of the property is examined to ensure that all restoration is authentic
and appropriate to the piece and will not alter its intrinsic and monetary
value. All processes are carefully recorded and can be reversed if necessary.
Photographs are also taken when required or requested by the client. The
work is performed by experienced conservators and restorers in our Claverack,
New York facility. We have a multi-structure converted nineteenth-century
railroad station that serves as both a conservation and storage facility.
Stair Restoration will travel to private homes, museums and historic sites
to perform restoration and architectural work on site. |
